Clients are amazed at their hair removal treatments. We’re much more effective and painfree than what ever they’re doing before. Fast visits and done in just a few treatments. If you’re reading this you are our potential client. You won’t be turned down due to your skin tone. You’ve suffered getting treatments in the past. We’ve heard all the stories. The great news is we want you to love your results. No more plucking, tweezing, waxing, razor burn, folliculitis, shaving or endless spa appointments for IPL (which is not laser).
How many treatments are needed?
Usually multiple treatments are typical. You can expect to have about a 15%- 25% reduction in hair with each treatment. People vary widely but any future hair growth will usually be thinner and lighter, and thus much less noticeable than before. Depending on the size of the treatment area, skin and hair type, between 4 to 6 sessions, 4 to 6 weeks apart will lead to a significant aesthetic and clinical result. Some clients with just one treatment have achieved their desired results.
With any hair treatment, we can only treat the hair follicles that are in active growth which are usually about 25% of the hair follicles. That is why it usually takes more than one visit.
What body parts can be treated?
Almost anywhere on your body can be treated.
Can men get the treatments too?
Men are welcome too. Let’s get you manscaped properly.
Remember to shave the area 1-2 days prior to your treatment.
What are the pre-treatment instructions?
Are there any post-procedure instructions?
Yes, it is important to avoid the sun after treatments. Wear larger hats and clothing to protect yourself. Apply and reapply 30+ sunblock to any treated areas exposed to the sun.
No tanning for at least 2 to 3 weeks near the treated area. The doctor will tell you how long. Longer sun avoidance is recommended for darker skin tones.
No tanning beds for 6 weeks. Doctor C. never recommends tanning beds.
I have a darker skin tone, so what is my risk for hyperpigmentation?
The risk is very low. We use the most modern, up to date treatment method designed for all skin tones.
Any side effects?
Some people get itchy skin after the treatment. Some people will have some redness. There is a small chance for hyperpigmentation of the skin, which is a change in skin color. Hyperpigmentation risk can be reduced by avoidance of sun.
